Built Like the Shop
on the Corner.

The independent smoke shops on every corner all look roughly the same for a reason — that's what customers expect a smoke shop to look like. But most of those stores are on their own: no real supply chain, no consistent restocking, no support when something goes wrong.

The Problem

Looks Independent, Runs Alone

Most of those shops are on their own — no real supplier relationships, no restocking discipline, no backup plan. Supply gets inconsistent, a vendor falls through, and there's nobody behind them to fix it.

The Fix

Same Look, Real Support

Smoke Haven gives you the same familiar feel customers already trust — backed by real branding, vetted contractors for the buildout, and a product pipeline that doesn't fall apart. Standalone or built into your existing store. You're not doing it alone.

Same Corner.
Different Backbone.

Drive through almost any small Midwest town and the independent smoke shops mostly look the same — black and yellow signage, a familiar layout, the same general feel. That's not a coincidence and it's not bad branding. It's what customers expect a smoke shop to look like, and that familiarity is exactly why people walk in without thinking twice.

What's different store to store isn't the look. It's what's behind it. Most of those shops are run entirely on their own — one owner figuring out suppliers, restocking, and what's actually selling, usually by trial and error. When a vendor falls through or a category goes cold, there's no backup plan. It's just that store, on its own.

Smoke Haven keeps the part that works — the familiar look customers already trust — and replaces the part that usually fails. A real supply pipeline. Branding that doesn't change every time ownership does. Contractors who've actually built these stores before. The shop still feels like the one that's always been on the corner. It just isn't running alone anymore.

Concept visual: staff helping a customer
Familiar by Design

Customers already know what a smoke shop looks like and walk in without hesitation. That trust took the category decades to build — there's no reason to throw it away.

Independent, Not Isolated

Most shops in this category are run alone, with no backup when supply gets inconsistent. Smoke Haven keeps the independent feel without the isolation.

Built On What Already Works

We're not asking anyone to reinvent what a smoke shop is. We're making sure the one on your corner actually has something behind it.

What's Included.

The shop looks like it's always been there. What's running behind it isn't left to chance.

Built

Brand Ready, Buildout Covered

Smoke Haven branding and signage are ready to go. For fixtures and construction, we connect you with contractors we trust — no hunting for a builder on your own.

Simple

Easy to Run, Day One

Standalone shop or built into your existing store — we train your team on the product before launch, with refreshers as the lineup changes. Nobody's guessing at the counter.

Supplied

Product Keeps Coming

Once you're open, we keep the shop stocked across every category — tobacco, vapes, glass, accessories — and handle returns on slow movers. You run the shop, we keep it supplied.

From Empty Space
to Open Shop.

A clear path from "I want to open a smoke shop" to actually running one.

01

Site Assessment

We walk the space with you — standalone location or a section inside your existing store — and look at square footage, layout, and foot traffic. Usually one visit. You walk away knowing what fits and roughly what it'll take.

02

Simple Agreement

You get a written agreement covering branding, ongoing supply terms, and the numbers for your store — in plain language, not legal filler. No verbal promises, nothing left vague.

03

Branding, Buildout & Training

Signage and branding go up. If construction's needed, your contractor handles the buildout on their own timeline. Before launch, we train your staff on the product — in person or remote.

04

Open & Supply

You open the doors. Product ships on a regular schedule, returns get picked up the same way, and we run refresher training whenever the lineup changes. No calling around — it just happens.

What's Possible.

Straight Answers.

No-nonsense answers to what store owners actually ask.

Can I open a new store or convert my existing shop?

Both. A new shop starts with a location and launch plan. A conversion starts with the business, stock, signage, and team you already have. We agree how the transition will work before changing the existing operation.

Can Smoke Haven work inside another store?

Yes. Smoke Haven can be a standalone shop or a defined smoke-shop setup within a gas station or convenience store. We review the footprint and operating arrangement for the actual location. An in-store setup is different from opening a separate standalone business.

Can I build more than one location?

Yes, additional locations can be discussed. Each site is assessed individually, and we agree the rollout, supply support, and training scope. You provide the local teams and management; expansion is not an automatic approval for every property.

Can I step back from day-to-day operations?

A manager-led arrangement can be explored if you want a less hands-on ownership role. It depends on having a capable manager and team, with owner oversight and program responsibilities defined in the agreement. Smoke Haven does not automatically take over management or guarantee absentee ownership.

Who staffs and manages the store?

Your local manager and team run daily operations, sales, and checkout. The program provides the agreed branding, product supply, merchandising, and training support. Your staffing needs depend on whether you are opening, converting, expanding, or changing your own role.

Do you handle construction and buildout?

Branding and signage come from us within the agreed scope. For construction and fixtures, we connect you with contractors; the buildout is a separate contracted job. Your proposal makes that split clear before you commit.

What happens to my current inventory and branding?

For an existing shop, we review stock, signage, and the transition together. We agree what can remain, what should change, and how the move into Smoke Haven will be handled. Buying out existing inventory or replacing every fixture is not assumed.

Is staff training included?

Launch and product training are defined in the program agreement, along with ongoing support as the lineup changes. Shoprally can provide additional structured learning and performance tools, independently or bundled.

Who handles licensing and age verification?

Your business handles retail operating requirements and point-of-sale age verification. Smoke Haven handles the agreed supply-side responsibilities for products we provide. Those responsibilities are defined before launch.

What does it cost, and what are the ongoing terms?

The proposal separates brand and program support from contractor buildout costs and explains ongoing supply and service arrangements. Fees, responsibilities, performance expectations, and termination terms depend on the agreed scope. Opening a store, converting one, and expanding are assessed separately.
