Embercade is a boutique smoke and lounge concept — premium glass and vape, a cigar selection worth lingering over, and a room people actually want to sit in. A distinct, fixed design built for operators ready to create a real destination — standalone only, brought to life through trusted contractors.
Grab what you need, pay, leave. There's real money being left on the table by never giving the customer a reason to stay.
The premium customer — the one who'd spend real money on a curated glass piece or sit down with a cigar — doesn't have anywhere built for that experience. They're stuck choosing between a transactional shop or driving to a city that has something better.
Embercade is built as a destination from the ground up — curated product, real seating, an atmosphere designed to be spent time in. Embercade has its own distinct, fixed design — branding, layout, and aesthetic. We connect you with trusted contractors to build it out, the same way Smoke Haven works.
A distinct, fixed design built specifically for this concept — brought to life through trusted contractors, not a generic buildout.
A complete visual identity and interior design plan built around the Embercade brand — not a generic lounge look, a space designed specifically for this concept.
Seating, display cases, lighting, layout — the Embercade look is set, not personalized per location. We connect you with trusted contractors to bring it to life, the same way Smoke Haven's buildout works.
If you're adding a bar component, we'll consult on layout and connect you with vendors. Licensing and compliance for alcohol service remain entirely yours to secure.
The product matters, but it's the room itself that turns a one-time customer into someone who comes back every week.
Not a counter with a stool pushed against the wall — genuine lounge seating designed for someone to sit down, relax, and stay a while. The room is built for conversation, not just checkout.
TVs built into the design from the start — sports, fights, whatever gives people a reason to post up for a few hours instead of grabbing their bag and leaving.
The space is designed to host vendor pop-up days, new product launches, and the kind of events that bring people in even when they weren't already planning to buy something.
Product on display is treated like product worth looking at — proper lighting, real display cases, nothing thrown on a shelf because there was room.
None of this is guesswork. The product knowledge behind Embercade comes from more than a decade in vape, glass, and smoke shop retail — what actually makes someone want to stay, and what makes a room feel like somewhere worth coming back to.
Some operators want Embercade to do more than be a lounge. The space can be designed to flex into a private event hall or conference room — corporate meetings, private parties, product launches — when it's not running as the lounge. The difference from a typical conference room: Embercade's own cigar selection and service can be offered as part of the booking, so a corporate client gets the lounge experience built into their meeting, not just a rented space. This is an optional design consideration we discuss during the site assessment, not something built into every location.
A larger footprint than our other programs — this one needs room to breathe.
Embercade requires a larger standalone footprint than a typical smoke shop. We evaluate your space and confirm it can support the lounge concept before anything else moves forward.
We design the space and lay out a written agreement covering the full buildout scope — branding, interior design, furniture, and fixtures — in plain terms.
Your contractor builds out the space to Embercade's fixed design — furniture, fixtures, signage, and brand elements. We stay involved to make sure the design comes through correctly.
You open with a complete, designed space. Product supply and ongoing support continue from there.
Concept visuals showing the look and feel Embercade is built around — the lounge atmosphere, the brand mark, the room itself.
No. Embercade is a standalone concept only. The lounge experience requires a dedicated space and footprint that doesn't work as an install inside an existing gas station or convenience store, the way Corner Cloud or Smoke Haven can.
More than a typical smoke shop — Embercade needs room for both a curated retail area and genuine lounge seating. We'll assess your specific space during the site assessment, but this program is built for a larger standalone footprint from the start.
You do, entirely. Obtaining and holding any liquor license is solely the operator's responsibility — Sunflare is never involved in that licensing process and does not hold or facilitate alcohol licensing of any kind. We can consult on layout and connect you with vendors for the bar build itself, but the legal and compliance side of alcohol service is yours to secure independently, typically with your own attorney.
Brand identity and a complete, fixed interior design — the Embercade look is set, not personalized per location. Like Smoke Haven, the actual construction and buildout goes through an independent contractor we connect you with, not Sunflare directly. What makes Embercade distinct is the design itself: every location follows the same look, rather than each operator customizing their own version.
It can, if you want it to. This is an optional design consideration, not a standard feature of every Embercade — some operators want the room to flex into a private event space for corporate meetings, private parties, or product launches outside of regular lounge hours. What sets it apart from a typical conference room is that Embercade's own cigar selection and service can be offered as part of the booking, so it's a lounge experience built into the meeting, not just a rented room. We'll discuss whether this fits your space during the site assessment.
This is the largest investment of any Sunflare program — a bigger footprint, a more involved buildout, and furniture and fixtures that Smoke Haven simply doesn't require. We won't pretend otherwise. Cost depends on space size, scope of furniture and fixtures, and whether a bar component is included, and we'll give you real numbers after the site assessment. If you're looking for the lower-cost entry point into smoke retail, Smoke Haven is worth a look first.
Tell us about your space and what you're picturing. We'll let you know if Embercade is the right fit.
Alcohol licensing and compliance are the sole responsibility of the operator. Sunflare Systems does not hold, facilitate, or provide legal guidance on liquor licensing. We offer general consulting on bar layout and vendor connections only.
