What does Sunflare Systems actually do?

We help independent retailers with custom branding, websites, signage, media, retail concepts, and staff training. You can build your own identity or explore Corner Cloud Co., The Vapory, Smoke Haven, and Embercade. Shoprally is also available independently for staff training and engagement.

Which service or program is right for my business?

Corner Cloud fits departments to your store: Co. is the full category or standalone shop, Express is a nicotine-free dispensary glassware format, and Select is a single department. Vapory is a focused vape boutique with personal guidance. Smoke Haven is a full smoke shop program for opening, converting, expanding, or exploring manager-led operations. Embercade is a dedicated smoke and cigar lounge. Custom Build creates your own identity; Shoprally supports staff learning.

Do you only work with smoke and vape retailers?

Our focus is convenience and smoke retail specifically — gas stations, convenience stores, and smoke shops. That focus is intentional. We understand the compliance requirements, payment processing complexity, and local competition this industry deals with in a way generic agencies don't.

Do I have to use one of your brands?

No. Custom branding is a core part of our work. We can create your logo, website, signage, and media around your business, your customers, and your vision. Our retail brands offer another way to get started when an established concept fits your goals.

Can you work with my existing business and branding?

Yes. You do not need to start over or change your name. We can work with your existing identity, refresh it, or create something new. The scope depends on what your business needs.

Can I start with an idea, or do I need a location first?

You can start with a target area, the kind of business you want to build, and the role you want to play. A specific retail layout and proposal depend on the actual site. Existing-store categories, new shops, kiosks, converted buildings, and lounges are scoped differently.

Who runs the business once a program is installed?

Your local team handles daily operations, sales, and checkout. A kiosk, standalone shop, or lounge needs its own staffing and management; an existing-store installation may use the host team. Sunflare’s brand, supply, merchandising, training, and ongoing services are defined in the agreement. A less hands-on ownership role depends on capable management and agreed oversight.

Can supply and ongoing support help my own brand too?

Our strategic wholesale partners bring more than a decade of industry experience, helping you access better pricing, new releases, and the latest products. Whether you choose a Sunflare brand or build your own, we can connect your business with supply relationships, ongoing marketing, product training, and merchandising support.

Sunflare brand locations follow their brand’s presentation standards, adapted to the space and format. For your own brand, product staging, displays, signage, and marketing are shaped around your identity. A Custom Build remains a one-time project with ownership of the finished work transferred to you; supply connections and ongoing marketing, training, and merchandising support are also available after delivery. Your agreement defines the services, responsibilities, and fees.

How are product training, Shoprally, and ongoing support handled?

Product orientation, launch training, and ongoing support are set out in your program proposal. Shoprally is an optional platform for structured learning, contests, and leaderboards and is available independently or bundled. Your agreement identifies what is included, the fees, and each party’s responsibilities.

What's the difference between the Custom Build and Network License?

A Custom Build creates branding and digital assets specifically for your business, with full ownership of the custom intellectual property transferred to you on delivery. A Network License gives you access to an established Sunflare brand and its supporting system. Licensing, ongoing services, fees, and responsibilities are defined in your proposal and program agreement. You do not need to join a brand program to work with us.

How long does a Custom Build take from start to launch?

Timelines vary based on scope, but a full Custom Build — brand identity, website, and media — typically runs 4 to 8 weeks from signed agreement to launch. We set hard milestone dates in your proposal and hold to them. If your opening date is fixed, tell us upfront and we'll build the schedule around it.

Do you work with shops that are already open, or only new openings?

Both. We work with first-time operators building from scratch and with established shops that have outgrown their current brand or website. If your existing presence isn't performing — weak foot traffic, dated look, no local SEO — we can audit what you have and rebuild from there. You don't need to be starting from zero to work with us.

What do you need from me to get started?

Not much upfront. A discovery call is all it takes to get the ball rolling — we'll cover your location, your market, your existing assets (if any), and your timeline. From there we handle the research and put together a full proposal. The more context you give us about your customers and competition, the sharper the deliverables. But we don't need you to have everything figured out before we talk.

What happens after the project is delivered?

Custom Build clients receive everything — all files, source assets, domain credentials, and hosting access — and are free to manage their presence independently. Before we hand it off, we walk you and your staff through how to actually use it — managing the site, working the loyalty system, anything POS-integrated. We don't hold anything hostage and we don't leave you guessing. If you want ongoing support, updates, or a retainer arrangement after delivery, that's available and we can discuss terms. Network License clients have continuous support built into the engagement by design.

What are Co., Express, and Select?

Co. is the full category installation or dedicated shop. Express is the nicotine-free glassware and accessories format for dispensaries. Select is one department, such as disposables or glassware, for a smaller initial investment.

How is Corner Cloud different from The Vapory?

Corner Cloud is a supported product-category installation or broader vape and glassware shop, with the mix tailored to the location. The Vapory is a focused vape boutique built around personal product guidance and repeat visits, in a kiosk, compact storefront, drive-through, or host-store counter.

Is Select the lowest-cost option, and how fast can it launch?

Select is our lowest-cost Corner Cloud entry option because it covers one department. A roughly 24-hour turnaround may be possible with stock and fixtures available, a prepared site, and scheduling confirmed. It is not the standard schedule for a full shop or custom buildout.

Where do Select vape products sit?

The preferred installation uses a three-to-four-foot employee-side wall section alongside the cigarette display, behind checkout. A small staff-access counter display is another option. The actual fixture and placement are agreed for the site.

Will every Corner Cloud location carry the same products?

No. Location details distinguish Co., Express, and Select and identify available departments. Express carries no nicotine products; Select may carry only disposables or only glassware. Check with the location for current products.

Who handles ongoing support and daily operations?

Sunflare provides the agreed brand, supply relationships, displays, merchandising, marketing, and product training. The retailer provides staffing, checkout, required retail procedures, and daily management. Supply, restocking, returns, support, and fees are set out in the agreement.

Can Corner Cloud be its own storefront?

Corner Cloud Co. supports a full category installation or dedicated storefront. Express is the nicotine-free glassware and accessories format for dispensaries. Select is a single department, such as disposables or glassware. Your team handles retail operations; services and supply are agreed for your site.

Who staffs and manages the business?

Your team handles sales, checkout, and daily operations. An in-store setup may use your existing staff; a dedicated storefront needs its own staffing and management. Corner Cloud does not provide a store manager or checkout staff as part of the category program.

What if I already own vape or glassware inventory?

We review your current stock and agree a transition before launch. That can include selling through existing stock or incorporating compatible products. Any buyout or other arrangement must be expressly agreed; it is not automatic.

Does a dispensary setup work differently?

We review the dispensary’s permitted product categories and presentation requirements for the specific location. The selection and layout are tailored to that review rather than treated as a generic convenience-store installation.

How is Corner Cloud different from Smoke Haven?

Corner Cloud focuses on vape and glassware, in an existing store or a dedicated storefront. Smoke Haven is the broader smoke-shop concept, with options to open, convert, expand, or change the owner’s daily role. The distinction is the category and operating setup, not simply whether the brand can have its own front door.

Is Vapory only for gas stations?

No. Vapory can be a mall kiosk, compact storefront, suitable repurposed drive-through, or counter within an existing store. The formats combine personal guidance with convenient repeat purchases; each is reviewed against the actual location.

Could an old coffee hut or drive-through work?

That is a format we can explore. We review the building and the proposed retail workflow, including a pickup window and a separate walk-up or consultation point. Conversion work and suitability are assessed for the property; an existing window alone does not make a site ready.

Who staffs and manages each format?

You arrange staffing and management for a kiosk, standalone shop, or repurposed building. Within an existing host store, your current team handles sales and checkout. Vapory’s proposal defines the brand, product, merchandising, and training support; it does not automatically include operating staff.

Is training included, and is Shoprally required?

Product orientation and training support are defined in the program agreement. Shoprally is optional for more structured learning, contests, and leaderboards. It can be used independently or bundled; your proposal identifies what is included.

What does it cost, and what if I want to leave?

Costs and the commercial arrangement depend on the format, property, and services. Your proposal separates setup and ongoing responsibilities and explains fees, performance expectations, and termination terms before you commit. A kiosk, standalone shop, converted building, and host-store counter are scoped separately.

How is Vapory different from Corner Cloud?

Vapory focuses on vape devices, liquids, pods, and personal guidance, with convenient repeat purchases across compact formats. Corner Cloud combines vape and glassware, within another retailer or as a dedicated storefront. Choose by the selection, customer experience, and footprint you want.

Can I open a new store or convert my existing shop?

Both. A new shop starts with a location and launch plan. A conversion starts with the business, stock, signage, and team you already have. We agree how the transition will work before changing the existing operation.

Can Smoke Haven work inside another store?

Yes. Smoke Haven can be a standalone shop or a defined smoke-shop setup within a gas station or convenience store. We review the footprint and operating arrangement for the actual location. An in-store setup is different from opening a separate standalone business.

Can I build more than one location?

Yes, additional locations can be discussed. Each site is assessed individually, and we agree the rollout, supply support, and training scope. You provide the local teams and management; expansion is not an automatic approval for every property.

Can I step back from day-to-day operations?

A manager-led arrangement can be explored if you want a less hands-on ownership role. It depends on having a capable manager and team, with owner oversight and program responsibilities defined in the agreement. Smoke Haven does not automatically take over management or guarantee absentee ownership.

Do you handle construction and buildout?

Branding and signage come from us within the agreed scope. For construction and fixtures, we connect you with contractors; the buildout is a separate contracted job. Your proposal makes that split clear before you commit.

What does it cost, and what are the ongoing terms?

The proposal separates brand and program support from contractor buildout costs and explains ongoing supply and service arrangements. Fees, responsibilities, performance expectations, and termination terms depend on the agreed scope. Opening a store, converting one, and expanding are assessed separately.

Can Embercade be installed inside an existing store?

No. Embercade is a standalone smoke and cigar lounge concept with its own dedicated retail and seating footprint. It is not a counter installation inside a gas station or convenience store. A suitable existing property can be discussed as a dedicated Embercade location.

Can I repurpose an existing building?

Yes, we can review a suitable standalone property for the concept. The building must support the proposed retail, seating, service, and optional event layout. Conversion work is assessed for that site and carried out through the agreed contractor arrangement.

Is the design customized for each operator?

The Embercade identity and interior aesthetic are fixed, not a separate custom brand for each owner. The site plan is assessed against your actual property while maintaining that design direction. If you want your own identity and a different look, Sunflare’s custom branding services are another route.

Who handles construction and daily operations?

We provide the agreed brand and design work and connect you with contractors. The construction and buildout are separately contracted. You provide the location, staffing, management, and day-to-day retail and lounge operation. Ongoing product and support arrangements are defined in your proposal.

Can the room host private events or meetings?

Optional private-event or meeting use can be discussed during the site review. It is not included automatically in every Embercade. We agree the layout and service scope for the property, and the operator is responsible for running bookings and events under the applicable operating requirements.

Is a bar required, and who handles alcohol licensing?

A bar is optional. Obtaining and holding any liquor license and handling alcohol-service compliance are entirely the operator’s responsibility. Sunflare does not hold or facilitate alcohol licensing or provide legal guidance on it. We can discuss layout and vendor connections within the agreed project scope.

What does Shoprally include?

Training guides, instructional videos, and learning modules built around your product lineup, plus sales contests and leaderboards. Your setup defines the categories, content, team access, and contest scope. It is a training and engagement platform, not an AI chatbot.

Can I use it without joining a Sunflare retail brand?

Yes. Shoprally is available independently for your existing store and branding. It can also be bundled with an agreed Custom Build or Network License engagement. You do not need a Sunflare website to use it.

Does it work with all four shop concepts?

Yes. Shoprally can support staff at Corner Cloud Co., The Vapory, Smoke Haven, and Embercade. The training should match the products and work at that location, whether it is a host-store counter, kiosk, full shop, or dedicated lounge. It is optional; your proposal states whether it is included.

Who is it for: new hires, cashiers, or managers?

All three. New hires get a place to learn the lineup. Experienced staff can refresh their knowledge and follow contests. Managers use the content and standings alongside coaching, onboarding, and their own store procedures. The examples above are fictional illustrations.

Is my store’s data visible to other stores?

No, not by default. Your portal is private to your own staff. Comparing leaderboards across the wider Sunflare network is an optional choice. Agree the participation and visibility before enabling a wider comparison.

How do the contests and leaderboards work?

Contests give your team a goal and a set of scoring rules. Results are tracked through the platform and standings show the team’s position. Agree the contest period, scoring, who can participate, and any rewards for your setup. The board on this page contains sample people and points.

Does Shoprally connect directly to my POS?

Direct POS integration is not currently included. Results are tracked through the platform rather than automatically imported from your register. POS integration is in development; confirm current availability before planning around it.

Can you cover specialty products?

Yes. Share your lineup and the items your team needs help explaining. Existing modules can be used where they fit, and specialty content can be added within the agreed scope. Custom content and updates are discussed during setup.

How long does setup take?

Once we have your lineup and training priorities, most portals are ready within a couple of weeks. The schedule depends on the amount of custom content compared with existing modules. Confirm the scope and timing for your team before launch.

Does it replace a manager or hands-on training?

No. Your team still handles store operations, customer service, product checks, required procedures, and hands-on coaching. Shoprally gives learning and engagement a structure; it does not operate the business or guarantee sales, staff performance, or retention.

How do I get started, and what does it cost?

Visit Shoprally or contact Sunflare with your team size, product categories, and training priorities. The proposal should identify the content, setup, access, ongoing support, fees, and any bundled services before you commit.
